Typeform Actions and Triggers in Sparkforge Workflows

By Sparkforge Support Team ·Last reviewed May 3, 2026

Sparkforge's native Typeform integration runs workflows the moment a form is submitted and lets you create, duplicate, or search forms from inside an automation. Premium-billed per execution; agencies can rebill sub-accounts.

The Typeform integration ties form submissions directly into Sparkforge workflows. Use the New Entry (Instant) trigger to react the moment a Typeform is submitted, then run actions to create new forms, duplicate existing ones, or search prior responses to enrich your CRM and follow-up.

Triggers and actions

TypeNameWhat it does
TriggerNew Entry (Instant)Fires immediately on form submission and enrolls the record into the workflow.
ActionCreate Empty FormCreates a new blank Typeform in the connected workspace and returns the new Form ID/URL.
ActionDuplicate Existing FormClones an existing Typeform (structure, logic, design) and returns the new Form ID/URL.
ActionSearch Responses in a FormRetrieves submissions for a selected Typeform so you can branch logic and map fields.

Connect Typeform

From a trigger or action step

  1. Open a workflow and click + Add Trigger (or + Add Action) and search Typeform.
  2. Choose New Entry (Instant) or a Typeform action and click Connect Now.
  3. Sign in to Typeform and authorize Sparkforge.

From Settings

Go to Settings → Integrations, find Typeform, and complete the OAuth connection. Connections are per sub-account.

Build your first flow

  1. Go to Automations → Workflows and click Create Workflow.
  2. Add the New Entry (Instant) trigger and select the form.
  3. Add a Create/Update Contact action and map email and phone from the submission.
  4. Add follow-ups: Send Email, Notify User, Create Opportunity.
  5. Publish and submit the Typeform once to verify entries appear in Execution Logs.

Configure trigger output mapping

Click Test Your Trigger → Fetch Trigger Data. The webhook waits for a sample payload — submit the Typeform once. Once the payload is detected and the trigger saved, you can map answers by question title in downstream steps.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a paid Typeform plan?
No. The integration works with free and paid Typeform plans. Typeform's own limits like response caps and branding still apply on free.
Are Typeform steps premium-billed in Sparkforge?
Yes. The trigger and all Typeform actions are premium and billed per execution at your account's standard rate. Agencies can rebill sub-accounts.
Where do new or duplicated forms live?
Forms are created in the connected Typeform workspace tied to the OAuth account selected for that step.
Can I edit existing Typeform questions from a workflow?
Not yet. Current actions are Create Empty Form, Duplicate Existing Form, and Search Responses in a Form.
How do I troubleshoot a failing Typeform step?
Open Execution Logs for the specific step. Common causes are invalid form IDs, missing permissions, or expired authorization. Reconnect the Typeform app and re-test if needed.
