How to Set Up an E-Commerce Store in Sparkforge
Build products under Payments → Products, add the store element to your website to drop in five default pages (list, detail, cart, checkout, thank-you), then track orders and fulfill them under Payments → Orders.
Sparkforge ships an online store you can attach to a new or existing website. Products live under Payments → Products, and the storefront is dropped into the site builder as a single element that adds five linked pages.
1. Build your products
Go to Payments → Products and create each item. Toggle Show in online store at the top of the product to expose it on the storefront.
Each product supports:
- Rich text descriptions with bold, italics, alignment, lists, and tables — these auto-populate the Product Details page.
- Multiple images and videos per product.
- Variants for size, color, material, and other options, each with its own price.
Only one-time products appear in the storefront. Recurring products still work through funnels and order forms.
2. Add the store to your website
In the website builder, click the + icon and add the Online Store element. Sparkforge inserts five pages by default:
- Products List — every published product or service.
- Product Details — the full rich-text description, images, and variants.
- Cart — line items, with add/remove before checkout.
- Checkout — shipping, email, coupons, and payment via card, Apple Pay, or Google Pay.
- Thank You — order confirmation after a successful payment.
Each element exposes General and Advanced settings so the storefront matches the rest of your site.
Product titles on the storefront
Product titles render in full (no ellipses) on the Product Detail page, Cart, Side Cart, Checkout, Thank You, Upsell Product element, Collection List element, and Featured Product element. Titles wrap to multiple lines as needed; the Product List page and Featured Products element keep the existing truncation.
Tip: In the store builder, double-click a Featured Product or Collections List item to map or review it. Unmapped items open the selection drawer; mapped items highlight for confirmation.
3. Track orders and payments
Every order surfaces under Payments → Orders with the matching transaction under Payments → Transactions. Refunds run from the same screens.
4. Fulfill orders and share tracking
New orders default to unfulfilled. Open the order, attach a tracking number, carrier, and tracking URL, and mark it fulfilled. Sparkforge logs the fulfillment date, tracking details, and item count on the order record.
Order Submitted is available as a workflow trigger so you can automate sales receipts, internal notifications, and post-purchase emails the moment a customer checks out.
