How to Restore Deleted Contacts in Sparkforge
Sparkforge keeps deleted contacts in Contacts > Restore for 60 days. Select records, confirm in the modal, and they reappear with their notes, tasks, conversations, and appointments intact.
If a contact was deleted by accident, you have a 60-day window to bring it back from Contacts > Restore. Single records or full bulk deletes can be reversed without re-importing a CSV.
What the Restore page does
The Restore page holds every contact removed from the CRM within the retention window. Restored contacts come back with their opportunities, notes, tasks, conversations, appointments, and workflow or campaign participation attached.
Limits to know
- HIPAA accounts: deleted contacts cannot be restored.
- 60-day window: after that, records are permanently purged.
- Confirmation modal shows the exact count before you commit and warns if any selected records are outside the window.
Restore one or more contacts
- Open Contacts in the dashboard and switch to the Restore tab.
- Find the records you want back. Use the checkboxes to select one, several, or every contact in the list.
- Click Restore and confirm in the modal.
Reverse a bulk delete
- Go to Contacts > Bulk Actions.
- Locate the bulk delete operation in the history.
- Open it and choose Reverse. Every contact in that batch is restored together, with their related data.
Why this matters
Restoring from inside the CRM keeps IDs, history, and automations stable. Re-importing a CSV creates new records that drop their old conversation threads and pipeline stages.
