How to Reconnect Google Calendar in Sparkforge
Disconnect the broken Google Calendar from My Profile or Calendar Connections, then reconnect through OAuth. The owner of the Google account must do it themselves — login as does not work for OAuth.
If your Google Calendar stopped syncing with Sparkforge, the fastest fix is to disconnect and reconnect the integration. This forces a fresh OAuth handshake and restores any permissions Google may have revoked.
Important: The user who owns the Google account has to do the reintegration themselves. The login as feature cannot complete a Google OAuth flow.
When to reintegrate
- Calendar events stop syncing.
- Google account permissions were changed or revoked.
- A calendar was disconnected and needs to be reconnected.
- Open Authorization errors or sync errors appear in the account.
Before going through the full reintegration, open Settings → Integrations → Google and look for a missing-permissions warning. If one exists, the Reconnect button there re-runs OAuth without removing the integration first.
Step 1: Disconnect the Google Calendar
You can disconnect from either of two places.
From My Profile
- Go to Settings in your sub-account.
- Open My Profile.
- Scroll to Calendar Settings.
- Click the Bin/Delete icon next to the connected Google account.
From Calendar Connections
- Go to Settings → Calendars.
- Open the Connections tab.
- Under Connected Calendars, click the Bin/Delete icon next to the Google account.
Check the acknowledgement box in the confirmation popup and click Confirm.
Step 2: Reconnect the Google Calendar
From the same place you removed it (My Profile or Calendar Connections), click + Add New and complete the Google OAuth flow.
After reconnecting, book a test appointment to confirm the calendar syncs both directions before relying on it for real bookings.
