How to Migrate Your Agency to Sparkforge Email
Sparkforge Email lets agencies send and receive email out of the box without Mailgun or third-party SMTP. Migrate from Agency Settings, then remove existing SMTP integrations on each sub-account.
Sparkforge Email is the built-in sending stack for your agency and every sub-account. New agencies are on it by default. Existing accounts using Mailgun or another SMTP provider can migrate in a few steps.
What Sparkforge Email gives you
Email sending and receiving works on every sub-account with no third-party signup, no DNS juggling outside the platform, and no separate billing.
How to migrate your agency
- Open Agency Settings > Email Services.
- Click Use LC - Email if the button is available.
- Select Sparkforge as the default provider and follow the prompts.
Clicking the button does not affect sub-accounts that already have SMTP or Mailgun configured. New accounts created after this point automatically use Sparkforge Email unless you wire up SMTP.
Remove an existing SMTP integration on a sub-account
- Set Sparkforge as the default provider.
- Open the existing SMTP or Gmail integration.
- Click the trash icon to remove it.
Common error: domain already configured
If you see This domain is already configured inside a Mailgun account, log into Mailgun and delete the domain there before re-adding it in Sparkforge. Open a support request if you believe the domain should already be removed.
Confirm you are on Sparkforge Email
Send a test email and check the sending domain. If it matches one of these, you are migrated:
