How to Filter Opportunities in Sparkforge

By Sparkforge Support Team ·Last reviewed May 3, 2026

Sparkforge filters narrow your opportunities list to deals that match specific conditions. Use AND/OR logic, date presets, and custom fields to focus reviews and pipeline reporting.

Filtering opportunities in Sparkforge cuts a busy pipeline down to the deals you actually need to look at. Combine field conditions with operators and date presets to segment fast.

What filtering does

Filters narrow the list or board view to opportunities that match your conditions. Pair fields like Owner, Status, or Date with operators like is, is not, or greater than to focus on the most relevant deals.

Why filter opportunities

  • Faster reviews: Isolate deals by owner, stage movement, or recent activity.
  • Better prioritization: Pull up only Open or recently updated deals before outreach.
  • Higher accuracy: Operators like empty and not empty catch edge cases.
  • Deeper insight: Slice by value, source, and custom fields to inspect pipeline quality.

Filter logic: AND vs OR

Two logical operators control how multiple conditions combine:

  • AND: Every condition must match.
  • OR: Any condition can match.

Toggle the logic at the top right of the filter sidebar.

Examples:

  • Owner = Person A AND Status = Open — focus a rep's active deals.
  • Status = Won OR Status = Lost — review closed outcomes only.

Click Add nested filter for an AND condition. Click Add Filter for an OR condition.

Standard filters

  • Owner: Select one or more owners.
  • Followers: Filter by users following an opportunity.
  • Status: Open, Won, Lost, Abandoned.
  • Opportunity Source: is, is not, is empty, is not empty.
  • Campaign Type: Search and select if used.
  • Opportunity Value: equal to, not equal to, less than, greater than, is empty, is not empty.

Date-based filters

Date filters track recent changes. Available dates include:

  • Last Stage Change Date
  • Last Status Change Date
  • Created On / Updated On
  • Opportunity Won On / Opportunity Lost On

Each supports the same presets: Yesterday, Today, This Week, Last Week, Last 7 Days, Last 30 Days, This Month, Last Month, This Year, Last Year, Custom, In the Next, In the Last, Less Than, More Than. Some operators accept relative time values like In the next 10 days.

Custom fields and tags

Any opportunity custom field becomes a filter, with operators that match its data type. Examples: Client Type (is / is not), Efficiency Rating (numeric comparisons), Tags, Time Tracked. Confirm the field type is correct so the right operators appear.

Steps to filter

  1. Log in to your sub-account.
  2. Open Opportunities from the left sidebar.
  3. Pick the pipeline.
  4. Click Advanced Filter (funnel icon) below the Status area.
  5. Add filters and choose AND or OR logic.
  6. Click Apply.

By default, pipelines show only Open opportunities. If you can't find a deal, check the active filters first.
