How to Create a LinkedIn Lead Form in Sparkforge Ad Manager
LinkedIn Lead Forms capture user details inside the ad without sending traffic off LinkedIn. In Sparkforge Ad Manager you build, preview, and CRM-map the form during campaign setup.
LinkedIn Lead Forms collect user details inside the ad unit, so prospects never leave the platform. Sparkforge Ad Manager handles form creation, preview, and CRM field mapping in one flow.
Step 1: Open the Lead Form Builder
- Create a LinkedIn campaign in Ad Manager and set the objective to Lead Generation.
- At the Ad Level, click Select a Lead Form.
- Click Create New to launch the Lead Form Builder.
Step 2: Add Basic Details
Form Name (required) auto-generates with a timestamp. Rename it to something descriptive like Q4 Webinar Signups. Max 256 characters.
Step 3: Greeting Section
The greeting controls the form's first impression.
- Headline (required, up to 60 chars) — sits at the top of the form.
- Details (optional, up to 160 chars) — short paragraph explaining the offer.
Step 4: Language
Pick the form's display language to localize the experience for your audience.
Step 5: Questions
Define what you collect from each lead.
- Prefilled Fields (up to 12): standard LinkedIn profile fields like First Name, Last Name, Email, Job Title, and Company. LinkedIn auto-fills these.
- Custom Questions (up to 3): free-text or multiple-choice prompts for qualifying details LinkedIn doesn't store natively.
Step 6: Privacy and Confirmation
Add your privacy policy URL, the consent checkbox text, and the post-submit thank-you message. LinkedIn requires the privacy URL before you can publish.
Step 7: CRM Mapping and Save
Map each form field to a Sparkforge contact field so submissions land in the right CRM record. Save the form and attach it to the ad.
