Audience Targeting for LinkedIn Campaigns in Sparkforge Ad Manager
Sparkforge Ad Manager supports LinkedIn's full targeting model: required geo, optional professional attributes, and include/exclude rules grouped with AND/OR logic.
Audience targeting decides who sees your LinkedIn ads. Sparkforge Ad Manager exposes geographic targeting, professional attributes, and include/exclude logic in a single panel.
Geographic Targeting (Required)
Every LinkedIn campaign needs at least one location.
- Include or exclude countries, states, regions, or cities.
- Search locations and add them as chips.
- Toggle each chip to Include or Exclude.
Tip: Start broad (country) when your audience pool is small. Narrow only when you need precision.
Intended Audiences (Optional)
Layer professional attributes on top of geography to reach people based on their LinkedIn profiles.
Attribute Categories
- Company: Industry, Company Size, Growth Lists (Fortune 500, etc.).
- Demographics: Age, Gender (where supported).
- Job Experience: Job Titles, Seniority, Job Function.
- Education: Fields of Study, Degrees, Schools.
- Interests & Traits: Professional interests and behaviors.
Include and Exclude
Each attribute can include the audience you want or exclude one you don't.
- Include: Marketing Managers in the SaaS industry.
- Exclude: Interns or Students.
Attribute Groups and Logic
Attributes inside the same group use OR logic — any match counts. Separate groups use AND logic — every group must match. Stack groups to build narrow, high-intent audiences without writing rules manually.
Validation
Ad Manager flags audiences that fall below LinkedIn's minimum reach so you can broaden the criteria before launch.
