Enable Domain Purchase and Rebilling in Sparkforge SaaS Mode

By Sparkforge Support Team ·Last reviewed May 3, 2026

Enable Domain Purchase under Agency Settings > Company, then turn on rebilling per sub-account and set a markup so clients pay through your Stripe account. Stripe must be connected via the SaaS Configurator for rebilling to work.

Sparkforge SaaS Mode lets you resell domain purchases to your sub-accounts and either absorb the cost or rebill it through Stripe with a markup. This article covers enabling the feature at the agency level, switching on rebilling per sub-account, and how the credits flow.

Who can use Domain Purchase

  • Available on every agency plan tier.
  • Once enabled at the agency level, existing and new sub-accounts see a Purchase a Domain button on their Domain page.
  • New sub-accounts created after enabling the feature on the SaaS Configurator are auto-enrolled.
  • For existing sub-accounts, rebilling has to be turned on manually for each one to avoid the agency absorbing execution costs.

Enable Domain Purchase at the agency level

  1. Go to Agency Level > Settings > Company > Domain Purchase.
  2. Toggle the feature on.
  3. Check I confirm that I agree to the Domain Purchase terms.
  4. Click Enable.

You can later enable or disable Domain Purchase or rebilling per sub-account from Agency Settings > Domain Purchase. Sub-account settings are only available once the agency-level toggle is on.

Domain pricing

Each domain purchase is chargeable. Cost varies by domain name and TLD (.com, .us, and others).

Turn on rebilling for clients

Rebilling lets you charge sub-accounts for domains at a price you set, with the difference deposited in your connected Stripe account.

  1. Confirm Domain Purchase is already enabled at the agency level.
  2. If the sub-account isn't in SaaS Mode, switch it: Agency > Accounts, find the sub-account, click the three-dot menu, and select Switch to SaaS.
  3. From Agency > Accounts, click View Details on the sub-account.
  4. Scroll to Domain Purchase Re-Sell Settings and toggle it on.
  5. Use the slider to set your markup, then save.
  6. Repeat for every sub-account where you want to rebill.

How rebilling works

  • Agencies pay Sparkforge directly and receive agency-branded invoices.
  • Sub-accounts pay the agency through the agency's connected Stripe account and receive your branding on their invoices.
  • Rebilling uses credits from the agency wallet and the sub-account wallet, the same pattern used by phone and email rebilling.

Stripe connection

Stripe must be connected through the SaaS Configurator for rebilling. Without Stripe, clients can't be charged and the agency absorbs the domain cost.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who pays for the domain, the agency or the client?
If rebilling is off, the agency pays and absorbs the cost. If rebilling is on, the client is charged through your Stripe account at the price you set.
Is Stripe required for rebilling?
Yes. Stripe must be connected through the SaaS Configurator. Without it, the domain cost falls back to the agency.
Can clients buy domains directly from their sub-account?
Yes. With domain reselling enabled, clients go to Settings > Domains in their sub-account, search, and purchase without leaving the platform.
Does Domain Purchase work on every agency plan?
Domain Purchase itself is available on every agency plan, but rebilling requires SaaS Mode and a connected Stripe account.
Will existing sub-accounts auto-enable rebilling?
No. Existing sub-accounts need rebilling toggled on manually so the agency doesn't absorb execution costs by default.
