Enable or Disable Deprecated Features in Sparkforge
Deprecated features (Campaigns and Triggers) are legacy modules Sparkforge no longer maintains. Toggle them on per sub-account from Business Profile Settings, but expect bugs and migrate to Workflows when possible.
Sparkforge keeps a small list of deprecated features that the engineering team no longer updates. The current list contains Campaigns and Triggers, both replaced by Workflows. Sub-accounts do not get access to deprecated features by default; an agency admin has to flip them on.
What deprecated means in Sparkforge
A deprecated feature is one that still runs but is being phased out. No new development happens on it. If a bug shows up, do not expect a fix. Workflows handle every use case Campaigns and Triggers used to cover, with multi-channel automation, conditional branching, and waits.
How to enable a deprecated feature
- Open the sub-account where you want the feature available.
- Go to Settings > Business Profile.
- Scroll to Enable / Disable Deprecated Features.
- Check the box for Campaigns or Triggers.
- Save.
When to actually use them
Almost never. Turn them on only to access existing assets you need to migrate. New automation should always be built in Workflows. If you are still relying on Triggers for production flows, plan a migration window before they get retired entirely.
Why this matters for agencies
Leaving deprecated modules off by default keeps client sub-accounts on the supported path. If a client opens a ticket about a Triggers issue, the answer is going to be "rebuild it in Workflows." Standardize early to avoid that conversation.
