Business Information captures your business type, industry, registration identifiers, and regions of operation. Accurate values reduce rejections and delays in A2P 10DLC and other compliance reviews.

The Business Information panel feeds external compliance reviews — most importantly A2P 10DLC. Inaccurate or mismatched data is the most common reason brand and campaign approvals get stuck.

Business Type

Pick the legal structure that matches your registration:

Co-operative
Corporation
Limited Liability Company (LLC) or Sole Proprietorship
Non-profit Corporation
Partnership

Business Industry

Choose the industry that best describes your primary target market. If you serve multiple, pick the closest fit — a single industry value is what reviewers expect.

Business Registration ID Type

Select the registration system that issued your number. United States businesses almost always use an EIN. International registrations might be CCN, VAT, or country-specific equivalents.

Business Registration Number

Enter the actual registration number that matches the type you selected. Type matters — EINs and VATs use different formats, and reviewers will reject mismatches.

Business Regions of Operation

Multi-select the regions where you operate. If you sell globally, pick the regions where the bulk of your sales occur.

Save Changes

Click the blue Update Information button to commit changes. If you skip this step, the values revert and downstream registrations fail.

A2P 10DLC reviewers cross-check your declared business type against the registration number you supply. Mismatches stall or reject the application.

What if my industry isn’t listed?

Pick the option closest to your actual target market. The dropdown intentionally uses broad categories — reviewers expect a single best-fit value, not a perfect match.

I’m outside the US — do I still need an EIN?

No. Pick the registration ID type used in your jurisdiction (CCN, VAT, etc.) and enter the matching number.

Can I select multiple regions of operation?

Yes. Regions of Operation is multi-select. Pick every region you actively do business in.

Do I need to save before navigating away?

Yes. Click Update Information after every change. If you don’t, the values are not persisted.
