How to Connect Stripe to Sparkforge

By Sparkforge Support Team ·Last reviewed May 3, 2026

Connect Stripe under Payments > Integrations to accept cards, subscriptions, and recurring payments. Sparkforge also supports Authorize.net, NMI, Square, Adyen, Razorpay, and PayPal.

Stripe is the fastest way to accept payments in Sparkforge. The OAuth connection takes about 60 seconds.

Connect Stripe

  1. Open Payments > Integrations.
  2. Click Connect with Stripe.
  3. Log in to Stripe (or create an account).
  4. Authorize the integration.
  5. Click Manage later if you need to edit the connection.

Non-Stripe Options

If Stripe isn't your processor, Sparkforge supports other gateways depending on the product area:

  • Authorize.net
  • NMI
  • Square
  • Adyen
  • Razorpay
  • PayPal buttons

You can also record one-time invoices manually without connecting any gateway. Manual entry skips automated charge syncing and Payments reporting parity.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I connect more than one Stripe account?

Each Sparkforge sub-account supports one Stripe account at a time. For multiple brands, create separate sub-accounts and connect a different Stripe account to each.

Can I track Stripe payments without connecting Stripe?

Not automatically. Payments created directly in Stripe don't sync into Sparkforge. Manual one-time invoices record payment in Sparkforge but skip automatic syncing.

Can a third-party tool push purchase events into Sparkforge?

Yes, with limits. Tools can POST events to the public API or send data via Webhooks/Zapier to update contact tags and opportunity values for attribution. They cannot create native Payments records unless the sale runs through a connected gateway or custom payments integration.

Is there an API alternative to a full Stripe login?

Yes. Build a custom payments integration that plugs into checkouts, subscriptions, saved methods, and Payments reporting without Stripe OAuth. This is a developer path.

What permissions do I need in Stripe?

Admin-level access. If you can't approve the integration, ask your Stripe account owner to elevate your permission.

Will existing Stripe payments show up after I connect?

No. Sparkforge only tracks transactions created in Sparkforge after the integration. Pre-existing Stripe payments don't backfill.

What currencies are supported?

Whatever your Stripe account has enabled. Sparkforge passes the transaction to Stripe, and Stripe handles the currency.

Can I test with Stripe test mode?

Yes. Stripe test mode simulates charges without billing real cards. Switch to live mode when you're ready to take real payments.

How does product info reach Stripe?

Sparkforge sends product name, price, and transaction data to Stripe automatically when a customer buys.

Do I have to use Stripe?
No. Sparkforge supports Authorize.net, NMI, Square, Adyen, Razorpay, and PayPal buttons depending on the product area.
