How to Style Sparkforge Surveys: Buttons, Background, Progress Bar
Open the survey in Sites → Surveys → Builder, then use the right-side menu to restyle the footer, swap progress indicators, add background images, and customize the next and previous buttons.
Sparkforge survey styling lives in the survey builder's right-side menu. You can rebrand buttons, swap or hide the progress bar, drop in a background image, and detach the footer to fit your design.
Open the survey builder
- Log in to Sparkforge and select the sub-account.
- Open Sites > Surveys and choose Builder.
- Click Add Survey in the top right — start from scratch or pick a template.
Customize the footer
The footer holds your progress indicator and navigation buttons. In the right-side menu:
- Enable footer to expose all footer customization options.
- Pick a progress indicator (one of four styles).
- Decide whether the footer sticks to the survey or scrolls with the page.
- Set position: left, right, or full width.
- Toggle between page count and progress percentage.
- Detach the footer to drop it at the bottom of the page instead of inside the survey card.
Hide the progress bar
If the progress indicator distracts respondents, disable the footer entirely or detach it and toggle the progress display off. The next/previous buttons can stay visible without the bar.
Style buttons and colors
- Customize text color, button color, and background color across the survey.
- Adjust button height, font size, font weight, and font type.
- Choose button content: text, arrows, or both.
- Match colors to your brand palette for a cohesive look.
Add a background image
Open the survey's background settings and upload a background image. Use it to reinforce a campaign theme, season, or brand visual. Confirm contrast against your text and button colors.
