Bulk Actions on the Sparkforge ecommerce Product page let you update visibility, pricing, collections, quantity, and inventory status across many products in one operation, with filters to narrow selection before the change applies.

Bulk Actions on the Product page let you change visibility, pricing, collections, available quantity, and inventory status across many products or variants in one operation. Useful for large catalogs and frequent stock or price updates.

What you can do in bulk

ActionWhat it does
Include in Online StoreMake selected products visible in the online store
Exclude from Online StoreHide selected products from the online store
Change PriceIncrease, decrease, or set new prices using fixed values or percentages
Change Compare-at PriceSame options applied to the Compare-at Price field
Add to CollectionsAdd products to existing collections or create new ones inline
DeleteRemove selected products in bulk with a confirmation step

Caution: Price updates apply to all variants of the selected product.

How to access Bulk Actions

Step 1: Open Products

Go to Payments > Products inside your ecommerce store.

Step 2: Select products

Use the row checkbox to select individual products, or click the top checkbox to select everything on the current page. To select every product across the sub-account, click the Select All prompt that appears after selecting all on one page.

Step 3: Pick a bulk action

Open the Bulk Actions dropdown and choose what to apply.

Filtering before bulk actions

Combine filters with Select All for targeted operations. Filters reduce the risk of editing the wrong products.

  • Store Visibility: Included or Hidden
  • Collections: by name
  • Source: All Products, WooCommerce

Click Filters in the upper right to set filters from the dropdown.

Edge cases and limits

  • Negative-value protection: Price changes that would produce a negative price skip those products. Others still update.
  • One operation at a time: Wait for the current bulk action to finish before starting a new one.
  • Global store visibility: Visibility changes apply across all connected stores. To hide a product from a specific store only, use Sites > Stores > Select Store > Products.
  • Increase or Decrease price: requires an existing value on the field. Products without a base price stay unchanged.
  • Bulk delete confirmation: Deleting more than 50 products requires typing "Delete" in the confirmation prompt. Deleted products cannot be recovered.
  • Restricted products skipped on delete: Sparkforge skips calendar-created products, memberships and communities products, and SaaS products with active or past_due subscriptions.
  • Performance: Changes against more than 300 products may take a few moments to reflect.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I bulk-update digital and physical products together?
Yes. Bulk Actions apply regardless of delivery type, so digital and physical products can be updated in the same operation.
Do bulk price changes affect product variants?
Yes. Pricing changes cascade to every variant of the selected product.
Can I undo a bulk delete?
No. Deleted products are permanently removed. Use the confirmation prompt as your final check before confirming.
Why didn't a price increase apply to some of my products?
Increase and Decrease actions require an existing value in the Price or Compare-at Price field. Products without a base value are skipped, and any change that would produce a negative price is also skipped.
Why is bulk delete leaving certain products in place?
Sparkforge skips restricted products automatically — calendar-created products, memberships and communities products, and SaaS products with active or past_due subscriptions cannot be bulk-deleted.
