How to View and Edit AI Response Info in Sparkforge Conversations
Sparkforge exposes the prompt, intent, and source data behind every AI message in the conversation view. Edit the prompt, FAQs, or website data inline and future AI responses pick up the changes immediately.
Every AI message in a Sparkforge conversation has a sidebar that shows what the bot used to answer: the prompt it followed, the intent it matched, and the knowledge source it pulled from. You can edit most of those pieces in place, and the next AI response uses the updated data.
What you can see in the AI Response sidebar
- Response: the actual text sent to the contact. Editing it does not change the message that already went out, but it teaches the bot how to respond next time.
- Prompt: the instructions the AI followed for this turn. Editable directly in the sidebar.
- Intent: the goal the AI matched. Read-only here. Change it in Conversation AI settings.
- Sources: the URL or FAQ entry the answer came from. Editable, with edits flowing into your knowledge base.
Open the AI Response sidebar
- Open a conversation that contains AI-generated messages.
- Find a message marked with the AI icon.
- Click the AI icon to open the AI Response sidebar.
This works for AI replies in conversations, AI workflow actions, and bot trial messages.
Why it matters
Instead of bouncing between a conversation and a separate knowledge base console, you can correct a bad answer at the moment you spot it. Edits to FAQs and website source data take effect immediately for every future AI response that draws on them.
