How to Track Gift Card Performance in Sparkforge
The Sparkforge Gift Card dashboard tracks issuance, total value, average order value, unique customers, and top denominations. Filter by date range and drill into Gift Card Orders to confirm balance, status, and delivery.
The Gift Card dashboard in Sparkforge sits under Payments → Gift Cards and consolidates how your program is performing across issuance, revenue, buyers, and denomination mix.
What the dashboard shows
Use the date filter in the top-left (default: This Month) to switch between Today, Yesterday, Last 7/30 days, This/Last Month, or a custom range. Filters apply consistently across the Gift Card Products page and All Orders page.
Core metrics
- Total Gift Cards Issued — cards sold through any checkout plus cards sent through the Send flow.
- Total Value Issued — monetary value of all issued cards with a trend chart for spotting seasonal peaks.
- Average Order Value (AOV) — whether customers gravitate toward smaller or larger denominations.
- Unique Customers — individuals who purchased or received a card in the period.
- Top Denominations — the most frequently issued value plus a Top 5 chart.
Drill into Gift Card Orders
Every card on the Gift Card Orders page is clickable and opens an order detail view with customer, status, balance, and code. This page is the single source of truth for every gift card in the account. Slice by contact, status, or denomination to audit fast.
Worked example
If five $500 cards and two $2,000 cards were issued in a week, the Total Value tile reads $6,500 and the Top 5 chart will show $500 and $2,000 ranked by frequency.
