Calendar View Enhancements in Sparkforge
The enhanced Calendar View splits scheduling into Meetings, Services (v2), and upcoming Rentals, each with its own filters. A Manage View toggle hides the side panel for more event space and a relocated mini month picker speeds date jumps.
The enhanced Calendar View in Sparkforge separates scheduling by type, swaps in only the relevant filters, and gives you more screen space for events. The interface adapts based on which scheduling types your agency has enabled.
Scheduling types
- Meetings: covers all legacy calendars including Personal, Round Robin, Collective, Class, Service Menu, and Service Calendars (v1).
- Services (v2): built for service businesses with variations, add-ons, and per-staff pricing.
- Rentals: coming soon, designed for studios, venues, and equipment rentals.
Smart Dropdown navigation
When more than one scheduling type is enabled in Agency Settings, a dropdown appears at the top of the calendar to switch between them. With only one type active the dropdown stays hidden.
Contextual filters
The right-hand filter panel updates based on the active scheduling type so you only see filters that apply.

Unified Service View
Toggle this on to group all service-based bookings across staff into a single timeline. Useful for spotting overlaps, coverage gaps, and open slots across multiple locations.
More space for events
Padding is reduced and the filter panel can be hidden.
- Click Manage View in the top right.
- Hide or unhide the right-side panel.
- Adjust zoom or screen size to fit more events.
The Manage View setting is per-user, so hiding the panel doesn't affect anyone else.
Mini month calendar
The mini month picker now sits directly under the main date. Click the date to expand or collapse it for fast month jumps without leaving the current week or day view.
Availability and setup
The enhanced view turns on automatically once Meetings, Services (v2), or both are enabled in Agency Settings. To enable Services across many sub-accounts at once, use Agency Settings → Subaccount → Bulk Actions → Setup Calendars.
