Sparkforge Quiz Builder creates interactive quizzes with scoring, categories, branching, custom results pages, CRM custom-field mapping, and workflow triggers. Use templates or build from scratch and import questions in bulk by CSV.

The Sparkforge Quiz Builder creates interactive quizzes that capture lead data and deliver personalized results. Quizzes can include multiple pages, several question types, optional scoring and categories, and a customizable results page with calls-to-action. Submissions can write back to CRM custom fields and trigger workflows for segmented follow-up.

Why use Quiz Builder

  • Automation-ready: trigger workflows on submission
  • Bulk creation: import questions by CSV
  • Personalized results: tier-based content on the results page

Scoring and categories

Scoring and categories are the logic layer that translates answers into a clear outcome.

  • Categories are outcome groups — "Beginner," "Intermediate," "Advanced," or "Service A vs Service B." Tie answers to a category to assign the result.
  • Scoring assigns points to options. Totals produce a total score, category score, or score tier (for example, 0–10 = Starter, 11–20 = Growth, 21–30 = Scale).

Results page

The results page closes the loop — explain the outcome and point to the next action.

  • Edit the header (logo, business name, layout, padding, background)
  • Configure dynamic content per score tier (Low, Medium, High)
  • Adjust tier ranges (e.g., Low = 0–39%, Medium = 40–79%) and tier colors
  • Add a CTA hyperlinked to a calendar, product page, or resource
  • Customize the footer (logo, social links, sticky behavior)

Configure score tiers

  1. From the quiz editor, open Settings → Edit Results Page.
  2. Click Configure Score Tiers.
  3. Edit names, colors, and ranges. Add or remove tiers.

Submissions and CRM mapping

CRM Field Mapping writes outcomes — overall score and tier, per-category scores and tiers, highest and lowest category — into contact custom fields. Once mapped, you can:

  • Build smart lists like "Overall Score ≥ 80"
  • Group contacts by category (e.g., "Fitness Tier = Beginner")
  • Personalize automations based on highest or lowest category
  • Trigger actions when a category score crosses a threshold

How to create a quiz

Step 1: Open the editor

Go to Sites → Quizzes → + Add Quiz, or select an existing quiz to edit.

Step 2: Pick a starting point

Choose Start From Scratch or From Template. The Template Library lets you browse, filter, search, preview, and activate templates.

Step 3: Configure the quiz

  • Pages: add and order pages — they display in the listed order
  • Elements: drag onto pages, reorder by drag, move across pages
  • Bulk CSV upload: import many questions to a page at once. The CSV processes temporarily and isn’t stored, so performance stays clean. Edit questions individually after import.
  • Edit Element: click an element to open its settings (Question, Query Key for URL pre-fill, Required, Hidden). Choice questions support Jump To branching.
  • Notifications: click the Bell icon. Toggle email notifications and an Auto Responder. Set Subject, Email To, Reply To, and Sender Name. Attach the Quiz Submission PDF or Quiz Results Page PDF.
  • Categories: click the Grid icon to add, rename, delete, and assign categories with scores.
  • Styles & Options: Layout (spacing controls without custom CSS), Footer, Colors & Background, On Submit, Facebook Pixel ID and Events, Quiz Settings, Footer HTML.
  • Element-level label alignment: set per-field alignment instead of one global setting. Mobile defaults to Top.

Step 4: Customize results

Tune the results page to match your brand and the action you want next.

Step 5: Integrate and publish

Click Integrate in the top-right and choose:

  • Embed: copy the iframe code for your site or funnel
  • Link: copy the direct share link for email, social, or chat

Frequently Asked Questions
