Phone System Messaging Analytics in Sparkforge
Messaging Analytics under sub-account Phone Numbers shows sent, delivered, failed, error 30007, received, and opt-out counts in near real-time. Filter by date, campaign, workflow, or bulk request, and click any metric to drill into individual conversations.
Messaging Analytics is the built-in reporting view for SMS and MMS inside the Sparkforge Phone System. It shows delivery performance per sub-account and lets you drill from a metric down to the individual conversation.
What it tracks
- Sent — messages handed to the telephony provider, excluding ones that failed inside the CRM.
- Delivered — messages confirmed delivered to recipients.
- Failed — messages that didn’t reach the recipient (bad numbers, provider or carrier blocks).
- Error [30007] — carrier flagged the message as spam, phishing, or fraudulent.
- Received — inbound messages received.
- Opted-Out — recipients who unsubscribed.
Where to find it
- Open the sub-account.
- Go to Settings → Phone Numbers under Business Services.
- Click the Messaging Analytics tab.
Filter the view
Date
Current date, last 7 days, current month, current year, or a custom range. Use it to compare periods and spot trends or sudden drops.
Messaging filters
- Campaign — messages tagged with a specific campaign.
- Workflow — messages sent from a specific workflow.
- Bulk Request — messages from a bulk send.
Drill into a metric
- Click any metric box (Sent, Delivered, Failed, etc.).
- A pop-up opens with the message-level report.
- Click the action button next to a contact to jump straight to the conversation page.
What to do when delivery drops
- Look for spikes in error 30007 — that’s carrier spam filtering, usually a content issue.
- Review recent template or copy changes.
- Check that opt-out language and sender ID are configured per the messaging policy.
- Validate sending volume against your number’s capacity.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I export the analytics data?
Not from the Messaging Analytics UI. Use screenshots or pull detail from the Conversations tab.
Why are messages missing from a campaign or workflow filter?
Messages have to be tagged with the campaign or workflow ID at send time. Confirm the tag and that the date range covers the activity.
How fresh is the data?
Near real-time. Delays can happen at high volume or when carriers are slow to return delivery receipts.
What’s the difference between Failed and Error?
Failed means the carrier never delivered — typically a bad number. Error 30007 means the carrier accepted the message but flagged it as spam, phishing, or fraud.
Can I filter by phone number or contact?
Not currently. Filters work at the campaign, workflow, bulk request, and date level.
