Frequently Asked Questions

Why am I charged for incoming SMS?
Sparkforge Phone bills inbound and outbound SMS at the same rate. This matches Twilio's underlying model where every delivery attempt incurs cost.
Will SaaS rebilling work after migrating to Sparkforge Phone?
Yes. SaaS rebilling continues to apply for all sub-accounts moved onto Sparkforge Phone with the same markup rules you've configured.
Why was I charged $20 right after creating one phone number?
Your wallet auto-recharged because the balance dropped below your configured threshold. Adjust the auto-recharge amount in wallet settings.
Am I charged for a failed SMS?
Internal Sparkforge errors before handoff to the carrier are not billed. Once a delivery attempt is made — including to toll-free, A2P, or restricted-country numbers — charges apply regardless of final delivery status.
Why am I billed for call recording storage on old recordings?
Storage charges apply to every recording on file. Use Sub-account Settings > Phone Numbers > Advanced Settings > Voice Calls > Call Recording to auto-delete recordings older than your retention window.
