Create Address and Regulatory Bundles in Sparkforge

By Sparkforge Support Team ·Last reviewed May 3, 2026

Address Bundles capture business identity. Regulatory Bundles attach country and number-type compliance. Both are created in Sub-Account > Settings > Phone Numbers > Regulatory Bundle / Address before you can provision regulated numbers.

Address and Regulatory Bundles let Sparkforge meet carrier and local rules when provisioning phone numbers. Some countries require both before a number can be purchased or moved.

What each bundle does

  • Address Bundle: stores business identity and address details. Used as the service address on phone numbers.
  • Regulatory Bundle: ties your business to country- and number-type-specific compliance documents so carriers will provision the number.

Why this matters

  • Compliance with local telecom regulations in regulated countries.
  • Verified bundles reduce carrier filtering, suspension, or removal of numbers.
  • Bundles are managed inside Sparkforge, no external portal needed.
  • Deletion safeguards: a confirmation modal shows Type, Country, and Bundle ID, and bundles in use cannot be deleted.

Auto-populated business details

When you create a new Address Bundle, these fields pre-fill from the location profile and stay editable:

  • Business name
  • Address line 1 and 2
  • City
  • State / Province
  • Postal code

Missing location data leaves the field blank for manual entry.

Create an Address Bundle

  1. Open the Sub-Account in your Agency Dashboard.
  2. Go to Settings > Phone Numbers.
  3. Open the Regulatory Bundle / Address tab.
  4. Click + Create. The bundle picker pre-selects Address Bundle.
  5. Fill in Business / Individual Name, Full Street Address, City, State / Province, Postal Code, and Country.
  6. Click Submit.

Create a Regulatory Bundle

  1. Click + Create and choose Regulatory Bundle.
  2. Pick the country in Select Country.
  3. Pick the number type in Select Number Type.
  4. Fill in business information.
  5. Upload supporting documents. Required document types vary by country and number type.
  6. Submit for review.

Assign a Regulatory Bundle to a number

Once approved, the bundle attaches to a phone number during provisioning or via the existing number's settings. Numbers without the right bundle in regulated countries will be rejected by the carrier.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between an Address Bundle and a Regulatory Bundle?
Address Bundles store the business identity and physical address used as the service address on numbers. Regulatory Bundles add country and number-type compliance documents required by local carriers.
Do I always need both bundles?
No. US numbers usually only need an Address Bundle. Many international and regulated number types require both. Sparkforge prompts you when a bundle is needed.
Can I edit a bundle after submitting?
Address Bundles can be edited as long as they are not in use. Regulatory Bundles in review or approved status are usually locked, and you create a new one to change documents.
What happens if my bundle is rejected?
The Compliance tab shows the rejection reason. Update the documents or address, resubmit, and the bundle goes back into review.
Can I delete a bundle?
Yes, when it is not attached to any number or address. The confirmation modal shows the Type, Country, and Bundle ID before deletion to prevent mistakes.
