By Sparkforge Support Team ·Last reviewed May 3, 2026

The Email Action in Sparkforge Workflows has a unified builder that matches Bulk Actions and Marketing Campaigns. You get Quick Compose, Smart Builder, templates, link tracking, UTM parameters, and optional template syncing in one panel.

The Email Action in Sparkforge Workflows now uses the same builder as Bulk Actions and Marketing Campaigns. You can compose, customize, and track emails from one panel without switching between builders.

What changed

Unified email creation flow

Workflows, Bulk Actions, and Marketing Campaigns share the same builder. Start an email three ways:

  • Quick Compose: a lightweight editor for fast emails.
  • Smart Builder: full editor with Design, Code, or Plain Text modes.
  • Select Template: reuse saved templates or pick from the Template Library.

Advanced settings

Each Email Action has expandable advanced settings:

  • Link Tracking: click counts and CTRs per link.
  • UTM Parameters: append campaign tracking tags to URLs.
  • Add Tags: apply tags to contacts based on opens or clicks.

Template syncing

Selecting a template now shows a Sync Edits with Template checkbox. Enable it to push template updates into the email automatically. Disable it to keep the email independent.

How to set up an Email Action

  1. Go to Marketing → Email Builder.
  2. Click Campaigns → Workflow Campaigns.
  3. Add or edit an Email Action.
  4. Pick a starting mode: Quick Compose, Smart Builder, or Select Template.
  5. Expand Advanced Settings to enable Link Tracking, UTM parameters, or tags.
  6. Click Save.
