How to Track Leads from an Affiliate Campaign in Sparkforge
To track affiliate-generated leads in Sparkforge, build a campaign with a form, survey, or calendar as the source. Embed those components inside a funnel or website page — custom code embeds and iframes are not tracked.
If your affiliates earn for generating leads instead of (or alongside) closing sales, point the campaign at a form, survey, or calendar. Sparkforge attributes every submission back to the affiliate who drove the visitor.
Step 1: Open the Affiliate Manager
Go to Marketing > Affiliate Manager > Campaigns.
Step 2: Click Add
Start a new campaign with the + Add button.
Step 3: Pick a lead source
Choose Forms, Surveys, or Calendars as the campaign source. These sources enable lead-based attribution instead of product-sale tracking.
Step 4: Select the specific source
Use the dropdown to pick the exact form, survey, or calendar this campaign should track.
Step 5: Review the campaign URL
Sparkforge generates a default campaign URL. If you have not added a branded domain to the account, the URL falls back to the system domain.
To use your own domain: Settings > Business Profile > Branded Domain. Once added, all affiliate campaign URLs update to use it automatically.
Step 6: Enable Pay-Per-Lead (optional)
In the Commissions tab, toggle on Pay-Per-Lead and define the per-lead commission amount.
Step 7: Customize and publish
Add a campaign description, assign affiliates, configure additional settings, and publish.
Step 8: Watch leads roll in
Once live, leads land under each affiliate's profile. Open the Leads tab on the affiliate to see submissions tagged with the source field, so you can confirm exactly where every lead came from.
Lead-tracking gotchas
- Custom embeds and iframes are not tracked. The form, survey, or calendar must be added as a native component inside a funnel or website page. Hand-rolled embeds break attribution.
- Branded domains require setup first. Add the branded domain before publishing campaigns if you want clean affiliate URLs from day one.
