Affiliate Campaign FAQs in Sparkforge
Quick answers to the most common Sparkforge affiliate campaign questions: campaign overlap, why a campaign won't publish, where to find referral links, and how to use a branded domain.
Short answers to the questions that come up most often when running affiliate campaigns in Sparkforge.
Can an affiliate be in multiple campaigns?
Yes. An affiliate can be part of any number of campaigns, and each campaign issues its own unique referral link.
Watch out: do not link the same product across multiple campaigns. Doing so produces double-counted commissions and unreliable performance data.
My campaign won't publish. What's wrong?
A campaign defaults to a paused state (red status) if a prerequisite is missing. Sparkforge will not let it go live (green status) until you fix it. The two most common causes:
- Stripe is not connected. Connect Stripe Connect under Settings > Integrations.
- No affiliates are assigned. Assign at least one affiliate to the campaign before publishing.
Where do I find an affiliate's referral links?
Each affiliate gets a unique referral link per campaign. To view them:
- Go to the Affiliates section.
- Click the affiliate's name.
- Scroll to the Active Referral Links tab.
You will see every campaign the affiliate is in and the referral URL for each.
How do I change the domain used in affiliate referral links?
If no branded domain is configured, Sparkforge uses the default system domain. To use your own:
- Open Settings > Business Profile > Branded Domain.
- Add the branded domain.
Existing and future affiliate campaign URLs update automatically to use it. Notify affiliates if they have already shared the old URLs so they can refresh their posts.
