How to Pay Affiliates Per Lead in Sparkforge
Sparkforge supports a Pay-Per-Lead model where affiliates earn a fixed commission for each form, survey, or calendar lead they generate. Set it up inside the campaign's Commissions tab.
Not every business pays affiliates on closed sales. If your sales cycle runs through consultations, demos, or in-person quotes, paying per lead is a cleaner model. Sparkforge supports Pay-Per-Lead (PPL) directly inside the affiliate campaign builder.
Step 1: Create a new campaign
- Go to Marketing > Affiliate Manager.
- Open Campaigns and click + Add.
Step 2: Choose a lead source
Select Forms, Surveys, or Calendars as the campaign source. Pay-Per-Lead is only available on these source types.
Step 3: Enable Pay-Per-Lead
In the Commissions tab, toggle on Pay-Per-Lead.
Step 4: Set the per-lead commission
Define the flat amount affiliates earn per lead under Per Lead Commission. This is the same amount for every qualifying submission.
Step 5: Configure advanced commissions (optional)
Layer multi-tier rates on top of the per-lead amount if you want upstream affiliates to earn on leads generated by their sub-affiliates.
Step 6: Add a description and assign affiliates
Spell out the offer in the campaign description and assign the affiliates who will run it.
Step 7: Review and publish
Confirm settings and click Publish to take the campaign live.
Tracking leads and commissions
- Leads: View attributed leads on each affiliate's profile page.
- Commissions: The Commissions tab shows the per-lead payout in the Product column tagged as Lead Commission.
What breaks tracking
Custom code embeds and iframes are not tracked. Forms, surveys, and calendars must be native components inside a funnel or website page for Pay-Per-Lead to attribute correctly.
