How to Set Up Verified Caller ID for Voice Calls

By Sparkforge Support Team ·Last reviewed May 3, 2026

Sparkforge lets you display your own number as caller ID on outbound voice calls. Verify the number with a one-time code, then assign it to a Sparkforge phone number in the sub-account. This works on Sparkforge Phone only — not personal Twilio accounts.

You can use your own phone number as caller ID for outbound voice calls from Sparkforge. The number must be verified once via a phone-based code, then assigned to one of your Sparkforge phone numbers as the outbound caller ID.

This feature works on Sparkforge Phone only. It is not available for sub-accounts using a personal Twilio account.

How to Set Up Verified Caller ID

Step 1: Switch to the Right Sub-Account

At the top left, use Click here to switch and select the sub-account where you want caller ID configured.

Step 2: Open Settings

Once inside the sub-account, click Settings.

Step 3: Open Phone Numbers

Click Phone Numbers.

Step 4: Add Verified Caller ID

Under the Add Number tab, click Add Verified Caller ID.

Step 5: Verify Your Number

  1. Enter the phone number you want to use as caller ID.
  2. Click Verify Number. A pop-up shows a verification code, and the number receives a verification call.
  3. Answer the call and enter the code when prompted.

Once verified, the number appears under the Verified Caller ID tab.

Step 6: Assign Verified Caller ID to a Sparkforge Number

  1. Under the Phone Number tab, click the three dots next to the Sparkforge number you want to update.
  2. Click Edit Configuration.
  3. Enable Use your Verified Number as caller ID for outbound calls.
  4. Pick the verified number from the dropdown and save.

Outbound calls from that Sparkforge number will now display your verified number as caller ID.
