How to Customize and Promote Your White-Label Mobile App

By Sparkforge Support Team ·Last reviewed May 3, 2026

Sparkforge ships a mobile app builder for agencies: upload a logo and splash screen, set colors and fonts, fill in profile details, then submit for App Store and Play Store review. Once approved, share the app with sub-accounts via the Mobile App promotion tool.

Sparkforge gives agency accounts two things at once: a way to brand and submit a fully white-labeled iOS and Android app, and a built-in promotion tool to push that app (or the standard Sparkforge mobile app) to your sub-accounts. This guide covers both.

Promote an existing mobile app to sub-accounts

  1. Sign in to your agency account and open Mobile App from the left menu.
  2. Pick which app to promote: standard Sparkforge mobile app or your white-label app.
  3. Click Saved Preferences and toggle on Show download link to clients.
  4. From any sub-account dashboard, invite users by email or SMS. New users can also receive an invite at creation.

Build and submit a white-label app

  1. Upload assets. Logo and splash screen image — keep both square and high-resolution.
  2. Set branding. Pick your light and dark color schemes, fonts, and the order of menu items.
  3. Fill in profile. Agency name, contact info, app description. These show in the App Store and Play Store listings.
  4. Preview. Walk through every screen on the device preview. Once it looks right, click Finish.
  5. Submit for review. The Sparkforge app team reviews your details and submits to Apple and Google. Approval timelines depend on the stores' standard review queues.

What you can customize

  • Logo and favicon
  • Light and dark color schemes
  • Font family
  • Menu items and their order
  • Splash screen image
  • App name and description in the store listings

Where the white-label app shines

  • Agency client engagement — clients open a branded app to check campaigns, leave feedback, and book meetings.
  • Multi-location franchises — one branded app across every location keeps the customer experience consistent.
  • Adding value to client packages — a custom app is a tangible deliverable competitors can't replicate without the same platform.
  • Internal team rollout — push the app to staff so they can manage tasks and respond to clients on the go.

Distribution limits

White-label distribution runs through the Apple App Store and Google Play Store only. Alternative app stores and direct APK distribution aren't supported.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I customize the app's UI fully?
Yes — logo, splash screen, colors (light and dark), fonts, and menu order. The underlying screens come from Sparkforge.
Can different sub-accounts see different apps?
Yes. Promote the standard Sparkforge app to some sub-accounts and your white-label app to others, or run multiple white-label builds for different client tiers.
How long does App Store and Play Store approval take?
It depends on Apple's and Google's review queues, typically a few business days to a couple weeks. The Sparkforge app team handles the submission paperwork.
Can I distribute the app outside the App Store and Play Store?
No. Distribution is limited to the official Apple and Google stores.
What happens if my app is rejected by Apple or Google?
Sparkforge support helps work through rejection notes from the stores — usually metadata or asset fixes — and re-submits.
