How to Use Activity Cards in Sparkforge Conversations
Activity Cards live inside the Sparkforge Conversations panel and surface real-time updates for opportunities, appointments, DND status, and invoices. Click into a card to view or edit the underlying record without leaving the conversation.
Activity Cards inject real-time updates into the Sparkforge Conversations panel. Instead of jumping between modules to check on a contact’s opportunity, appointment, do-not-disturb status, or invoice, you see and act on changes inline with the message thread.
What Triggers an Activity Card
A card appears whenever one of four record types is created, updated, or deleted on a contact:
- Opportunities — created, updated, or deleted
- Appointments — booked, rescheduled, or canceled
- Do Not Disturb (DND) — enabled or disabled, by channel or across all channels
- Invoices — sent or paid
Opportunities
When a new opportunity is created, updated, or deleted on a contact, the card lands in their Conversations thread. Click View Opportunity to open the record and edit it from the same screen.
Appointments
Appointment cards trigger on creation, reschedule, and cancellation. View Appointment opens the booking so you can adjust the time, attendee, or notes without losing your place in the conversation.
Do Not Disturb (DND)
DND cards announce when a contact is added to or removed from a Do Not Disturb list, and they include attribution showing who or what made the change.
Reading the “by” Value
- Workflows: a workflow enabled or disabled DND.
- User: a team member made the change.
- Contact: the contact themselves opted in or out.
Attribution applies to all channels and requires no setup.
Invoices
An invoice card appears when an invoice is sent and again when payment is received. View Invoice opens the invoice in a new tab for the full breakdown.
Why It Matters
Activity Cards keep the Conversations panel as the single working surface for a contact. You stop tab-hopping, and changes anyone on the team makes show up in the thread the next time you look at it.
