How to Integrate Razorpay with Sparkforge

By Sparkforge Support Team ·Last reviewed May 3, 2026

Install the Razorpay app from the App Marketplace, paste your API keys, add the Sparkforge webhook URL in Razorpay, and whitelist your branded domain on both sides to start accepting payments.

Razorpay is a payment provider widely used in India. Once connected, it works alongside Stripe, NMI, and Authorize.net inside Sparkforge — order forms, invoices, payment links, contact pages, subscriptions, refunds, and post-purchase automations all use the same engine.

What you can accept

  • One-time payments at fixed or custom amounts.
  • Recurring subscriptions with cancel, card-on-file update, and refund support.
  • Payments across order forms, invoices, payment links, forms, and contacts.

Setup — four steps

  1. Install the Razorpay app. Open the App Marketplace inside your sub-account and install Razorpay. You can also reach it from Payments > Integrations > Search for More.
  2. Add your API keys. In the Razorpay dashboard go to Accounts & Settings > API Keys. Copy the key ID and secret, then paste them into the Sparkforge authentication page.
  3. Configure the webhook. In Razorpay open Accounts & Settings > Webhooks and add this URL:
    https://backend.sparkforgehq.com/razorpay/webhook
Enable every payment-related event so transaction statuses sync correctly.
  4. Whitelist your branded domain. In Sparkforge go to Settings > Business Profile > Branded Domain, register your domain, and click Update Information. Then in Razorpay open Accounts & Settings > Business Website Details > Add Additional Website/App Details and add the same domain.

Important: Razorpay only processes payments from domains whitelisted on their dashboard. Skip step 4 and your live transactions will fail.

What works after setup

Razorpay supports the same automations as the other payment providers — automated sales receipts, refunds, payment received and order submitted triggers, and discount codes via coupons.

Frequently Asked Questions

I'm seeing an error that link.fastpaydirect.com is not registered. How do I fix it?
link.fastpaydirect.com is the default Sparkforge branded domain, whitelisted only for Sparkforge's own merchant account. Register your own branded domain in Sparkforge (step 4 above) and add it to Razorpay's website list — payments will process once Razorpay recognizes the domain.
Does Razorpay work for SaaS Mode and Wallet Recharges?
No. Razorpay doesn't support off-session charging on saved cards through the integration, so SaaS Mode and Wallet Recharges aren't supported. Only fixed-duration subscriptions work.
Can I run Razorpay alongside Stripe or NMI?
Yes. Razorpay is one of several payment integrations and behaves the same way as the others, including support for refunds and post-purchase automations.
Where do I find my Razorpay API keys?
In the Razorpay dashboard under Accounts & Settings > API Keys. Generate a key pair and paste both values into the Sparkforge auth page.
Why do I need to enable all payment events on the webhook?
Sparkforge relies on those events to sync transaction status, refunds, and subscription changes. Missing events cause out-of-date records and broken automations.
