How to Generate Social Planner Images with Content AI

By Sparkforge Support Team ·Last reviewed May 3, 2026

Inside the Sparkforge Social Planner, click the image upload icon on a new post and pick Generate Image with AI. Describe the scene in plain language, choose a style (photo, digital art, fine art, 3D, etc.), set 1–5 variations, and the AI produces images you can drop straight into the post.

Content AI's image generator lives inside the Social Planner. Instead of hunting for stock photos, you describe the image in plain language and pick a style — useful when you're scheduling posts in bulk and need brand-consistent visuals fast.

Before you start

Content AI must be enabled on the sub-account, and the user needs Content AI permissions under Settings → My Staff → Edit User → User Permissions.

How to generate an image

  1. Go to Marketing → Social Planner → New Post.
  2. Pick the social channel(s) for the post.
  3. Click the image upload icon and choose Generate Image with AI.
  4. Type your image description in plain language. Be literal — describe the scene, not the goal.
  5. Choose 1–5 variations.
  6. Pick a style: Photo, Film, Dreamlike, Digital Art, Poster, Vector, Colorful, 3D Model, Pastel Art, Sketch, Watercolor, or Color Pencils.
  7. Click Continue to drop the image into the post.

How to write descriptions that work

  • Describe the scene literally. Instead of 20% off shoes, write a stylish pair of running shoes next to a gym bag.
  • Skip promo language. Words like discount, sale, or limited time confuse the model — it can't draw price tags.
  • Skip symbols. The $ sign won't produce a price image. Describe what wealth looks like instead — a luxurious diamond necklace in a velvet box.
  • Specify what matters. If you need a specific color palette or setting, name it in the description.
  • Stay clear and concise. Vague descriptions produce vague results.

Use cases

  • Product launches — a trendy pair of sneakers on a graffiti background.
  • Holiday posts — a cozy winter scene with hot chocolate and a Happy Holidays banner.
  • Content series — keep the same style and framing across a Tip-of-the-Week run for visual consistency.
  • Webinar invites — a sleek laptop, coffee mug, and notepad on a desk.
  • Brand awareness — branded mug and stationary in an office setting.

Where to find old generations

Past image generations are listed under Automation → Content AI. Open any prior session to copy a successful prompt or grab an image you generated before.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many image styles are available?
Twelve as of writing: Photo, Film, Dreamlike, Digital Art, Poster, Vector, Colorful, 3D Model, Pastel Art, Sketch, Watercolor, and Color Pencils.
Can Content AI generate animations or GIFs?
No. Image generation produces static images only.
Why does the AI ignore words like 'discount' or 'sale'?
These are abstract concepts the image model can't visualize. Describe the scene literally instead — what would a photo of that idea actually show?
Is there a cap on how many AI images I can create?
No specific cap is published, but Content AI is metered. Check your Content AI usage and your sub-account's plan terms.
Can I keep the same style across a campaign?
Yes. Use consistent style choices and similar phrasing across descriptions for a cohesive look — it's the easiest way to build a series.
