Create and Share Conversation Views in Sparkforge
Conversation Views save common Conversation Inbox filters as named, reusable views. Build a filter, save it, and switch between views with one click — admins can share views with the rest of the team.
Conversation Views save sets of Conversation Inbox filters as one-click named views. Once you build a filter — Assignee, Channel, Tags, SLA — save it as a view and jump back without rebuilding it. Views are private by default. Admins can share them.
Why use Views
- Speed: switch between common filters instantly.
- Consistency: enforce shared criteria for priority or unassigned work.
- Focus: stay on critical conversations like specific tags or channels.
- Scalability: admins push standard views to the whole team.
Create a Conversation View
- Go to Conversations > Views.
- Click + Create View.
- Name the view clearly — e.g. Channel - Email.
- Apply filters — for example, Last Message Channel > Is > Email.
- Use Logged In User to make user-based filters dynamic per viewer.
- Click Create View.
Dynamic user-based filters
Set these filters to apply to whoever is currently logged in:

Available filter types
- Assigned, Follower, Mention
- Last Message direction (inbound/outbound)
- Last Outbound Message Type (Manual or Automated)
- Last Message Channel (SMS, Email, Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, Webchat)
- Tags (often used to surface High Intent or priority labels)
- SLA / Response Time
- AND / OR logic to combine conditions
Share, edit, or delete a View
The new view appears under Views. Open the view's menu and choose Share to make it available to other users, or Edit or Delete as needed (admin only).
Frequently Asked Questions
Are my views visible to other users by default?
No. Views you create are private to you unless an admin shares them with specific users or the team.
Do shared views change what a user can access?
No. Shared views respect each user's existing permissions. Recipients only see conversations they already have access to.
Is there a limit on how many views I can create or share?
No. There are no enforced limits on the number of views per user or per location.
Do views update automatically as conversations change?
Yes. Views reflect any conversation that matches the saved filters. If results look stale, refresh the page or re-open the view.
Why do I see different counts than my teammate in the same shared view?
User permissions and access to specific conversations, channels, or tags vary. Each user sees only what they're allowed to see, even inside the same view.
Can an admin stop sharing a view later?
Yes. Admins can open the view menu and unshare it or remove specific recipients.
