Quick Replies are predefined single-tap response buttons for Facebook and Instagram DMs. Configure up to 13 per message (20 chars each) inside Workflows.

What Quick Replies do

Quick Replies are predefined response prompts that appear under a Facebook or Instagram message. The recipient taps one to reply in a single touch, and the selection comes back into Conversations as an inbound message.

How to set up Quick Replies

  1. Go to Automation > Workflows and create or edit a workflow.
  2. Add a trigger such as a customer comment on a Facebook or Instagram post. Filter to a specific post if needed.
  3. Choose Reply to comment via DM or Reply via DM. Set up your snippet template in Marketing if you have not already.
  4. Add buttons for predefined options (for example, an "I have a question" button that triggers a phone call).
  5. Use the workflow actions Facebook Interactive Messenger or Instagram Interactive Messenger to add Quick Replies.

Limits

  • Up to 13 Quick Replies per message.
  • Each Quick Reply has a 20-character maximum.
  • Quick Replies appear only on the most recent message and are single-tap responses.
  • Once tapped, the customer cannot change their selection.
