GoKollab Affiliate Program for Communities

Community Affiliates is an internal referral program for GoKollab communities. Paid members get a personal invite link; when an invitee joins and pays, the referrer earns the commission % set by the community owner.

How it works

• Commissions are credited when a new member joins through a referrer's invite link and completes a paid membership.
• The community owner defines the commission % that applies to eligible referrals.
• Earnings accumulate and are paid when the owner processes payouts.
• Payouts are managed directly by community owners — not by Kollab.

Why owners run it

• Word-of-mouth growth: members refer warmer leads than ads do.
• Lower acquisition cost: shift spend from ads to performance-based commissions.
• Member loyalty: reward engaged advocates for contributing to growth.
• Owner control: set the %, monitor results, and manage payouts on your own schedule.

Auto-generated referral links

• Each paid member gets a unique invite link to your community.
• Members can copy and share the link via social, email, or DM.
• Announce the program with a pinned post and onboarding email to drive momentum.

Set the commission % (owner)

1. Go to Kollab Studio.
2. Click the kebab menu (three dots) next to your community.
3. Select Affiliates.
4. In the top right, set your Commission % and save.

Owner dashboard

• Revenue from affiliates: membership revenue generated from referrals.
• Total payouts: total commissions already paid to affiliates.
• Referral tracking: who referred whom and what's owed.

Process payouts

Owners pay affiliates directly using their preferred method (e.g. bank transfer) and then mark each payout as Completed or Failed so referrers see accurate status in their dashboards.
