How to Customize Prospect Report Layout in Sparkforge

By Sparkforge Support Team ·Last reviewed May 3, 2026

Sparkforge lets you control which sections appear in Prospect Reports and the order they display. Set a global default in Marketing > Prospecting > Settings, or override layout for a single report from the Sections panel.

Prospect Reports in Sparkforge generate Marketing Audit Reports for any prospect domain. You decide which sections show up and the order they appear, both for new reports going forward and for individual reports you want to tune for a specific pitch.

What you can control

  • Section visibility (show or hide each section)
  • Section order (drag to reorder)
  • Global default layout for all future reports
  • Per-report overrides without touching the global default

Visibility and order apply to the web report, shared report links, and the exported PDF.

Set the global default layout

The global layout is the structure every new standard report inherits. Use it when you want every audit report to follow the same template.

  1. Go to Marketing → Prospecting → Prospect Accounts.
  2. Open the Settings tab.
  3. Select Report Settings.
  4. In the Customize Report Layout panel, uncheck any sections you want hidden.
  5. Drag sections by their handles into the order you want.
  6. Click Save.

Save sets the global default. Reports you previously customized one-by-one keep their own layout and won't pick up the new global structure automatically.

Common adjustments

  • Move Overall Score to the top so impact metrics hit first.
  • Hide Techno Stack if your offer is SEO or reputation only.
  • Promote SEO Analysis when pitching local search clients.

Override layout for a single report

Use a per-report override when one prospect needs a different structure but you don't want to change your standard template.

  1. Open the Marketing Audit Report you want to adjust.
  2. Click Sections in the top-right corner.
  3. Check or uncheck sections to control visibility.
  4. Drag sections to reorder.
  5. Click Apply.

Apply only affects this report. The global default stays untouched.

Verify changes and refresh data

  1. Click Refresh inside the report if updates aren't showing.
  2. Confirm the report generation timestamp.
  3. Click Export PDF to confirm structure carries through.

Some report improvements run through backend processing. If you upgraded scoring or detection logic, refresh existing reports to pull the latest data.
