How to Use Conversations Snippets in Sparkforge
Snippets are reusable text and email templates inside Sparkforge Conversations. Create them under Conversations > Snippets or Marketing > Snippets, organize into folders, and insert them into any conversation thread.
Snippets are reusable text and email templates that any team member can insert into a Sparkforge conversation. Use them for FAQ replies, follow-ups, appointment reminders, and any other message you send repeatedly.
Where Snippets live
You can reach Snippets from two places:
- Conversations — left sidebar, then Snippets at the top of the screen.
- Marketing — Marketing menu, then Snippets.
Create a Snippet
- Go to Conversations > Snippets or Marketing > Snippets.
- Click Add Snippet and pick Text or Email.
- Name it clearly — for example, Follow-Up Missed Appointment or FAQ: Hours of Operation.
- Compose the message. Use Custom Values or trigger links for personalization.
- Preview on the right and send a test SMS or email to yourself if needed.
- Click Save.
Organize Snippets into folders
- Click Add Folder and name it (for example, Appointments).
- Open a snippet, click the three-dot menu, and choose Move to Folder.
- Bulk-select multiple snippets to move them at once.
Use the search bar to jump to a snippet by keyword, or filter by Text or Email to narrow the list.
Insert a Snippet into a conversation
- Open any conversation thread.
- Click the Snippets icon at the bottom of the composer.
- Browse folders or search by keyword.
- Click the snippet — it populates the text box, ready to send or edit.
User permissions
Team members need the Conversations > View permission on their user role to see and use Snippets in the Conversations tab. Without that role permission, the Snippets icon won't appear in the composer.
