Conversation AI Post-Appointment Booking Actions in Sparkforge

Once a contact books through Sparkforge Conversation AI, you can put the bot to sleep for a set time, trigger one or more workflows, or both. The settings live inside the Appointment Booking configuration.

Sparkforge Conversation AI now supports post-appointment booking actions. After a contact books through the bot, you can pause the bot, trigger workflows, or do both. The settings live inside the Appointment Booking configuration on the sub-account.

What Changed

Previously the bot kept replying to a contact after they booked an appointment. Operators asked for two things:

  • Stop bot replies once an appointment is on the calendar.
  • Kick off workflows immediately after the booking lands.

Both are now toggles in Appointment Booking settings.

Put the Bot to Sleep

Enable the sleep toggle and set how long the bot stays inactive after a successful booking. During that window the bot will not send automated replies on that contact's thread.

Trigger Workflows

Pick one or more workflows from the dropdown. Sparkforge runs them right after the appointment is booked. Use this to send confirmations, assign owners, tag the contact, or hand off to a human.

Combine Both

The two settings work together. A common pattern: silence the bot for 24 hours and trigger a confirmation workflow that sends an SMS reminder the night before.
