How to Set Up Bank-Only Transfers on Sparkforge Invoices
Sparkforge invoices can be configured to accept bank transfers only (SEPA or ACH), excluding card payments. Enable it inside the invoice's Payment Options after connecting Stripe.
Sparkforge invoices support a bank-only transfer mode that locks payment to SEPA or ACH and removes card options. Use it to cut processing fees, match regional norms, or satisfy clients that require direct bank payments.
What bank-only transfers do
The setting restricts an invoice to bank transfer as the single accepted payment method. Cards are not offered to the recipient on that invoice.
- Lower fees compared to card processing.
- Fits regions and industries where bank transfers are standard.
- Single, predictable payment path for finance teams.
Set up bank-only transfers
- Open Invoices from the main dashboard.
- Click + Create Invoice, or Edit an existing one.
- Scroll to Payment Options and choose Bank Transfer as the exclusive method.
- Click Save, then Send Invoice to email it to the client.
Requirements
Bank transfer collection runs through Stripe. Connect Stripe and enable bank transfer payments on the connected account before clients can pay this way.
When to use it
- Clients in regions with low card adoption.
- High-ticket invoices where card fees are material.
- B2B contracts that require direct bank-to-bank settlement.
Payments collected through bank-only transfers are tracked in the Invoices section alongside other payment methods.
