Add Attachments to Sparkforge Documents and Templates

Send the contract and the supporting files in one email instead of three. Sparkforge's document builder accepts attachments that arrive in the recipient's inbox as standard email attachments.

What you can attach

• File types: SVG, PNG, JPG, PDF
• Per-file size: up to 15 MB
• Per-document: up to 5 attachments
• Total email size: keep under 20 MB for best deliverability

Add attachments to a document

1. From the left nav, click Payments.
2. Click the Documents & Contracts tab.
3. Open an existing document or click + New.
4. Click the Gear icon in the upper-left of the builder to open Settings.
5. Scroll to Add Attachments and click Upload.
6. Drag-and-drop or browse to select files (SVG, PNG, JPG, PDF, max 15 MB each).
7. Click Upload to confirm. Watch the progress bar to 100%.
8. Click the trash icon next to any file to remove it.
9. Click Save.

How attachments behave

Attachments are part of the document, not an external link. That means:

• They send with both manual sends and workflow-triggered sends.
• They arrive as standard inline email attachments — no third-party download links.
• Duplicating a document copies its attachments along with it. You can swap them in the new copy.

Why this matters

One email with the contract plus supporting docs cuts the back-and-forth and reduces phishing concerns. Recipients open everything from the same trusted email.
