How to Set Up Group Calendars in Sparkforge
A Sparkforge Group Calendar is a single booking link that combines several individual calendars. Create the individual calendars first, then build the group and add them inside Settings → Calendars.
Group Calendars give clients one link to choose between team members, services, or departments. Sparkforge groups don't replace individual calendars — they reference them, so you build the individual calendars first.
What a Group Calendar does
- Combines several individual calendars into one booking page.
- Lets clients pick a provider or service before they book.
- Keeps your booking links organized by team, location, or service line.
- Reduces clutter for prospects who otherwise see a wall of separate links.
Step 1: open Calendar settings
- Go to your sub-account Settings.
- Open Calendars under Business Services.
- Click Create Group.
Step 2: create the group
- Enter a Group Name and an optional description.
- Pick the Classic or Neo template for the group view.
- Set a group URL slug.
- Click Create.
Step 3: add calendars to the group
After creating the group, a popup offers two paths:
- Choose Calendars — pick individual calendars to add now.
- I'll Do It Later — skip and add them from the group settings later.
If no calendars appear, you haven't built any individual calendars yet. Create them under the Calendars tab first, then return.
Sync with Google and Outlook
Each team member needs a Primary Calendar configured in their personal calendar settings. That's how their Sparkforge bookings sync to their Google or Outlook calendar.
If a required field is missing
When you click Save changes with an empty required field, Sparkforge scrolls to the missing field automatically — or jumps to the right tab if the error is on a different one.
