How to Find a Group Calendar ID in Sparkforge
Open Calendar Settings, find your group, and click Share Group. The Calendar ID is the slug at the end of the permanent link, or the prefix before the underscore in the embed code.
Every group calendar has a unique ID Sparkforge uses to reference it in workflows, webhooks, and API calls. Two clicks pulls it from the share menu.
When you need a calendar ID
- Triggering workflows on bookings for a specific group calendar
- Sending appointment data via webhooks or API
- Wiring up external tools like Zapier, Pabbly, or Make
- Troubleshooting and support tickets
Step 1: Open Calendar Groups
- In the sub-account, open Settings from the left menu.
- Click Calendars.
- Select Groups under Calendar Settings.
Step 2: Pull the ID
Click the Share Group icon next to the group you want. You have two options:
- Scheduling Link — copy the last slug of the permanent link. That slug is the Calendar ID.
- Embed Code — copy the part of the ID before the underscore.
Both methods return the same value. Pick whichever is closer to where you are working.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can the same Calendar ID be used in multiple workflows?
Yes. Reuse the ID in any workflow or integration that needs to reference that group calendar.
Does renaming a calendar change the ID?
No. The ID stays the same. Renaming only changes the display label.
Is the Calendar ID different for each user?
No. The ID is tied to the calendar itself and is the same for everyone with access.
What happens to the ID if I delete the calendar?
It becomes invalid. Workflows and integrations referencing that ID stop working until you update them.
Can I filter API bookings by Calendar ID?
Yes. The Calendar ID is the standard filter when querying booking data for a specific calendar.
