What Happens When You Cancel SEO in Sparkforge
Canceling an SEO subscription in Sparkforge moves projects into a Frozen state. Pixel fixes already applied stay live as long as the script is installed, but crawling and new recommendations pause until you re-subscribe.
When you cancel an SEO subscription in Sparkforge, the system runs an offboarding flow that preserves the work you already shipped while pausing active automation. Projects using the SEO Pixel move into a Frozen state automatically.
What Frozen state means
- Existing pixel fixes: stay live on your site as long as the SEO Pixel script remains installed. Read-only after freeze.
- Site crawling: paused.
- New recommendations: paused.
- Project data: retained in your account so reactivation is fast.
How to cancel the SEO subscription
- In your sub-account, go to Sites > SEO.
- On the Site Projects tab, click the three-dot menu in the upper right and select Cancel Subscription.
- In the confirmation modal, click Yes, Cancel.
The Frozen transition runs in the background. No manual offboarding required.
Managing live optimizations after canceling
You decide whether the prior optimizations stay visible to your visitors:
- Keep changes live: leave the SEO Pixel script installed. Applied fixes continue to render.
- Remove changes: delete the SEO Pixel script from your site code. The site reverts to its original state immediately.
Re-subscribing
- Re-subscribe to a valid plan.
- Re-link your projects in the dashboard.
- Projects move to an Unfrozen state. Crawling, new recommendations, and fresh fixes resume.
