Content Genius in Sparkforge: AI Writing and SEO Scoring
Content Genius is Sparkforge's AI text editor for SEO content — it scores drafts in real time, suggests missing terms, and lets you generate full articles with AI. Pair it with Content Planner for keyword clusters and Topical Maps for pillar-page strategy.
Content Genius is the AI editor inside Sparkforge's advanced SEO module. It does two jobs: real-time SEO scoring while you write, and full-article generation when you want a draft fast. Both flows share the same quota pool, so plan your keywords before you generate.
Two ways to write
Write yourself (manual)
Open Content > Content Genius from advanced SEO. Click New Article > Write Yourself. Enter a topic and target keywords, then write in the blank editor. The SEO sidebar scores your draft and suggests missing terms, headings, and word count adjustments based on the top-ranking pages for your keywords.
Quota cost: 1 article credit + 1 keyword credit per target keyword. No AI premium credits.
Write with AI
From the same screen, click Write with AI. Fill in the title, target keywords, optional location, and tone. Click Generate AI Content — Content Genius analyzes the top results for your keywords and produces a draft.
Quota cost: 3 AI premium credits + 1 article credit + 1 keyword credit per keyword. With 10 AI premium credits per month, that is roughly 3 AI articles before the cap hits.
Content Planner: keyword clusters
Content Planner builds a roadmap from a seed keyword. Open Content > Content Planner, enter a seed (for example, teeth cleaning), pick a location, and the tool pulls related keywords from SERP data. It groups them into clusters like Professional Cleaning or Home Remedies, viewable as a table or diagram.
Click Create Article on any cluster to send it into Content Genius. Quota cost: 10 content plans per month, with minimal AI credit use unless you build a Topical Map.
Topical Maps: pillar strategy
Topical Maps draw a structured diagram of clusters around a pillar keyword. From Content Genius, click Create Topical Map, set the pillar URL, target keyword, language, and how many clusters and long-tail keywords to generate.
Quota cost: 3 AI premium credits per map, plus 1 AI credit per article generated from the map. Best used for serious pillar strategies, not one-off posts.
Monthly quotas
| Resource | Monthly limit | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Articles | 30 | Each new article = 1 slot |
| Target keywords | 100 | 1 credit per keyword on each article |
| AI premium credits | 10 | 3 credits per AI-generated article |
| Content plans | 10 | Cluster maps for strategy |
| Topical maps | 3 credits each | Use selectively for pillars |
Practical tips
- Use AI output as a first draft. Edit for accuracy, voice, and any current-event details the model can't verify.
- Target one primary keyword and one or two secondary keywords per article — more dilutes the score.
- Use the suggested word count as a floor, not a ceiling. Match competitor depth on the topic.
- Skip AI generation for breaking news or hyper-local topics. Write those manually.
- All users on the sub-account share the same quota pool. Coordinate on bigger projects.
Common issues
- AI content is off-topic: tighten the title and keyword, then regenerate. Each regeneration burns credits.
- Article quota hit: the limit resets monthly. Delete unused drafts to free slots if needed.
- Content Planner returns nothing: the seed keyword is too narrow or too broad. Try a different angle.
- Export formatting breaks in your CMS: tweak the HTML on paste, especially for nested lists and tables.
