Set Up an RSS Feed for Your Sparkforge Blog

By Sparkforge Support Team ·Last reviewed May 3, 2026

Sparkforge blogs can publish an RSS feed that powers RSS email campaigns and Social Planner posting. Generate the URL under Sites → Blogs → Settings → RSS.

An RSS feed turns your blog into a stream other systems can subscribe to. In Sparkforge, the RSS URL works as the source for RSS-driven email campaigns and Social Planner automation, so each new post can publish to email and social channels without manual posting.

Why Use RSS

  • Automatic content delivery to email and social
  • No manual reposting between channels
  • Consistent publishing cadence even when you're heads-down
  • Multi-channel reach from a single source

Set Up Your RSS Feed

Make sure the domain is connected to your Sparkforge sub-account before starting.

  1. Go to Sites → Blogs.
  2. Click the gear-shaped Settings icon.
  3. Open the RSS section.
  4. Add a new RSS Feed: name it, select the source blog, set the post count, and choose whether to include full content.
  5. Copy the generated RSS URL.

Use the URL in any RSS Email Campaign or Social Planner RSS post. Changing the dropdown afterward does not invalidate URLs you've already copied — each one stays bound to the configuration it was created with.

Frequently Asked Questions

What if I change the blog in the dropdown after creating an RSS feed?
The original RSS URL keeps working with the configuration it was created against. Changing the dropdown does not break or rewrite existing feeds.
Is there a maximum number of posts in the RSS feed?
Yes. The interface enforces a maximum post count per feed. Set it during feed creation.
Will draft posts appear in the RSS feed?
No. Only published blog posts appear in the RSS output.
Can I edit the feed length later?
Yes. Open Blog Settings and edit the RSS feed configuration to change the post count or content option.
