Blog Analytics in Sparkforge: Track Posts and Page Views
Blog Analytics lives under Sites > Analytics in Sparkforge and consolidates page views, top posts, device breakdowns, link clicks, and category performance. Data starts from August 28, 2024.
Blog Analytics gives you one place to see how your Sparkforge blog is performing. It tracks page views, top posts, link clicks, devices, categories, and author engagement so you can decide what to write next based on what is actually working.
What Blog Analytics covers
The dashboard pulls together the metrics you would otherwise have to chase across separate tools:
- Total page views and trends over time
- Top performing posts by views and engagement
- Link clicks inside posts
- Device breakdown across desktop, mobile, and tablet
- Visits split by content category
- Author link clicks
- Imported vs. manually created post performance
Note: Data is captured starting August 28, 2024. Anything before that date shows as Unknown.
How to open Blog Analytics
- Log into your sub-account.
- Click the Sites tab.
- Click the Analytics tab.
- Open the category dropdown and select Blogs.
- Use the date range and blog site selectors to scope the view.
The dashboard sections
Quick Performance Overview
High-level snapshot: total page views, published blog sites, and total published posts.
Trends Over Time
Page views plotted across the date range you select. Use it to spot seasonal patterns, content spikes, or drops worth investigating.
Top Performing Posts
Posts ranked by views and engagement, with thumbnails and titles so you can identify winners at a glance.
Number of Link Clicks
Per-link click counts inside posts. Use this to measure whether CTAs and embedded links are pulling their weight.
Device Breakdown
Splits views by desktop, mobile, and tablet so you know where to optimize layout and load.
Post Visits by Category
Visit counts grouped by content category so you can see which topics earn attention.
Author Links Clicked
Clicks on author bylines, useful when you want to credit or coach contributors based on real engagement.
Import vs. Manual Tracking
Compares the performance of imported posts against posts created directly in Sparkforge so you can refine your sourcing strategy.
Using the data
Pair Top Performing Posts with Category visits to find the topic-format combinations that work, then use Trends Over Time to confirm whether momentum is building or fading. Link Click data tells you whether CTAs need reworking even when traffic looks healthy.
