One-Time Pricing in the Sparkforge App Marketplace

By Sparkforge Support Team ·Last reviewed May 3, 2026

The Sparkforge App Marketplace now supports one-time pricing alongside recurring plans. Developers can set agency and per-sub-account prices for Agency & Sub-account distribution apps, and users can filter the marketplace by pricing model.

The Sparkforge App Marketplace now supports a one-time pricing model in addition to recurring plans. This unlocks paid distribution for asset-heavy modules — Snapshots and Widgets — that cannot be uninstalled cleanly once they are in place.

Why one-time pricing

Snapshots and Widgets bring assets into a sub-account that cannot be reversed after install. Recurring billing does not fit that model — once the install happens, the value is delivered. A one-time charge matches what the buyer is actually paying for.

What is new

  • One-time pricing for apps. Developers can configure one-time plans when creating apps in the Marketplace.
  • Separate agency and sub-account pricing. For apps with Agency & Sub-account distribution — where agencies can bulk-install across their sub-accounts — developers can set different one-time prices for the agency-level install and per-sub-account install.
  • Pricing filters in app discovery. Buyers can filter the Marketplace by pricing model so one-time apps surface alongside recurring ones.
  • One-time install for users. Users can install apps after paying a single fee, with no ongoing subscription.

Who this is for

  • Developers shipping Snapshots, Widgets, or other one-shot assets through the Marketplace.
  • Agencies bulk-installing paid apps across many sub-accounts and wanting predictable cost.
  • Sub-account users who want to pay once for a tool instead of carrying a subscription.
