How to Use the Blog Template Library in Sparkforge
Click Sites > Blogs > Create Blog > Create Blog From Template. Pick a layout, click Continue, and customize the post in the editor.
The Blog Template Library lives inside Sparkforge's blog system. It gives you ready-made blog layouts so you can start from a structured format instead of a blank page.
Why use a template
- Skip blank-page paralysis with structured starting points
- Choose layouts matched to common content goals (educational, promotional, story)
- Keep visual and structural consistency across posts
- Fully editable after selection
- Mobile-responsive by default
Start a blog post from a template
- In the left sidebar, click Sites > Blogs.
- Click Create Blog in the top-right corner.
- Select Create Blog From Template.
- Browse the available templates. Click any template to preview.
- Once you've chosen one, click Continue.
- Customize the content, formatting, and media in the blog editor.
- Click Save or Publish when ready.
Template variety
Each template is built around a specific content goal. Pick the one that fits the post you're writing — a how-to guide, a product announcement, a story-driven post, or a list piece. The structure guides the flow without limiting what you can change.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I edit a template after picking it?
Yes. Templates open in the standard blog editor with full edit access — layout, text, media, everything.
Do templates limit my SEO?
No. Templates follow content best practices, but you still need to fill in SEO metadata (title, description, slug) manually for each post.
Can I save my own custom templates?
Not at this time. The library only includes system-provided templates.
Are templates mobile-responsive?
Yes. Every template renders correctly on desktop and mobile.
Can I switch templates after I start writing?
No. Templates can't be swapped mid-edit. To use a different template, create a new blog post.
