How to Use SEO Heatmaps in the Sparkforge Prospecting Tool
The SEO Heatmap plots a prospect's keyword rankings across nine map points (one center, eight surrounding) so you can see exactly where local visibility is strong or weak. It requires a Premium Prospecting subscription and lives inside the Prospecting Tool.
The SEO Heatmap inside the Prospecting Tool shows how a prospect ranks across nine geographic points around their business. Use it to spot where local visibility is solid and where it needs work.
Requirement: Premium Prospecting subscription on both agency and sub-account.
What the SEO Heatmap shows
The heatmap plots search rankings on a 3x3 grid of points centered on the prospect's location. Each point reflects the rank for a chosen keyword from that geographic spot.
- Center point (20% weight): the prospect's immediate area.
- Eight outer points (10% weight each): nearby zones for neighborhood-level visibility.
Higher rank at a point means stronger visibility in that location. The combined score reflects local SEO performance overall.
What you get out of it
- Geographic visibility view per keyword.
- Specific zones to target with local SEO work.
- Top three local competitors surfaced alongside the prospect's data.
Heatmap accuracy notes
Heatmap categories now align with the prospect's Google Business Profile categories, so the map reflects how Google actually classifies the business. If you are reviewing an older report, refresh it first to load the updated heatmap data.
