How to Customize Blog Design and Layout in Sparkforge
Open Sites > Blogs, click the blog name, then Edit the Blog Site to access the editor. From there you control layout, list card content, and the visual style of every blog element on home and post pages.
You customize a Sparkforge blog from inside its editor — same place you create posts and manage the blog site.
Open the blog editor
- Go to Sites > Blogs.
- Click the name of the blog in the list view.
- Click Edit the Blog Site (next to the New Blog Post button).
The editor opens with all the elements and global sections available.
What you can change
- Layout — overall structure of the blog home and post pages.
- Card content — what shows for each post in the blog list.
- Element styling — image, post body, tags, heading, title, description, author, and publish date.
Available elements
The blog editor includes section Templates, Global Sections, and elements like buttons, social media icons, images, and a progress bar. Section templates are shared across funnels, websites, and blogs, so you can reuse work between them.
Manage posts and the blog
From the same editor you can create new blog posts or delete the blog entirely.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I edit the Next and Previous pagination buttons on the blog home?
Not directly. Those buttons are auto-generated for pagination. You can style them — or hide them — using custom CSS under the Advanced tab, but the text and structure aren't editable in the visual editor.
Are sections shared between funnels, websites, and blogs?
Yes. Section templates are shared across all three, so a section you build for a website is available inside the blog editor.
Where do I get to the blog editor from?
Sites > Blogs > click the blog name > Edit the Blog Site. That opens the editor with elements and global sections.
Can I control how each post appears in the blog listing?
Yes. The editor lets you configure the card view, including whether to show the image, tags, author, publish date, and description.
