How to Add an Affiliate Payout Method in Sparkforge

By Sparkforge Support Team ·Last reviewed May 3, 2026

Both admins and affiliates can add PayPal or bank as a payout method from the Affiliate Manager or the affiliate portal. Admins control which methods are available under Affiliate Portal Settings.

Sparkforge supports PayPal and bank transfer for affiliate payouts. Admins decide which methods affiliates can choose, and either side can add the actual account details.

Control which payout methods are available

  1. Go to Affiliate Manager > Settings.
  2. Open Affiliate Portal Settings > Configure Payout Methods.
  3. Enable PayPal, Bank Transfer, or both.
  4. Save. Affiliates only see the options you turn on.

Add a payout method as an admin

  1. Open the affiliate's profile page in the Affiliate Manager.
  2. Switch to the Payout Methods tab.
  3. Click Add Payout Method.
  4. For PayPal: enter the affiliate's PayPal email. For Bank: pick the country and fill in the bank fields.
  5. Click Done. Repeat to add more methods, then mark one as the primary.

Add a payout method as an affiliate

  1. Log into the affiliate portal with the magic link.
  2. Open the Payout Methods tab.
  3. Click Add Payout Method.
  4. For PayPal, enter the PayPal email. For bank, pick the country and complete the fields.
  5. Click Done.

Heads up on PayPal: PayPal's API doesn't validate email addresses on the way in, so a typo in the affiliate's PayPal email won't be caught until the payout fails. Double-check the email before saving.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can an affiliate have more than one payout method?
Yes. Add as many as you need and mark one as the primary. Payouts run against the primary unless you change it.
Who can add the payout method — admin or affiliate?
Either. Admins add methods from the affiliate's profile in Affiliate Manager; affiliates add them from the Payout Methods tab in their portal.
Why does PayPal show invalid after a payout fails?
PayPal's API doesn't verify the email at entry. If the email is wrong or the PayPal account is closed, the payout fails on send. Confirm the email with the affiliate before queuing payouts.
Can I limit affiliates to only one payout method?
Yes. Under Affiliate Portal Settings > Configure Payout Methods, enable only the methods you want available. Affiliates won't see the disabled options.
