How to Add a Blog Sitemap in Sparkforge

By Sparkforge Support Team ·Last reviewed May 3, 2026

Sparkforge's new blog auto-updates the XML sitemap each time you publish a post. To set it up, open your domain settings, find the XML Sitemap option in the three-dot menu, select your blog home and post pages, and generate.

An XML sitemap helps search engines discover and index every page on your site. Sparkforge's new blog updates the sitemap automatically each time you publish a post, so you don't have to touch sitemap.xml or robots.txt by hand.

How automatic sitemap works

Once configured, the sitemap regenerates whenever a blog post is published. New posts get added to the sitemap and become discoverable to crawlers without any manual step.

Set up your blog sitemap

  1. Go to Domain settings in your sub-account.
  2. Confirm the domain is set up. (See the domain connect article if you haven't done that yet.)
  3. On the domain, open the three-dot menu and click XML Sitemap.
  4. In step one, select the landing pages or funnels to include — pick the Blog Home and Blog Post options.
  5. In step two, click Generate Sitemap.

From here, every time you publish a new post, it's added to the sitemap automatically.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to regenerate the sitemap after every new post?
No. Once you've generated it the first time, the sitemap updates on its own each time you publish a new post.
Where do I find the XML Sitemap option?
Go to your domain settings, find the domain in the list, click the three-dot menu, and choose XML Sitemap.
What pages should I include in the sitemap?
At minimum, select Blog Home and Blog Post to expose your blog content to crawlers. You can also include landing pages and funnels you want indexed.
Do I have to edit robots.txt manually?
No. Sparkforge handles the sitemap reference automatically once it's generated, so search engines can find it.
